Vincent Colombano passed away on October 22, 2017. He was born January 9, 1919 in Asti, CA. He grew up in Geyserville, CA. He lived his whole life in Sonoma County except for his time in the Army during World War II. He married his wife Anita in 1947 and they worked together raising grapes and prunes. He loved farming, camping, telling jokes and funny stories. He always enjoyed the company of his family and friends. He belonged to the American Legion, Sons of Italy and the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Preceding him in death were his wife Anita, his parents, Eligio and Angela Colombano, his siblings, Louis and Fred Colombano and Adele Bellero. He is survived by his daughter Alice (Bob) Picchi, sister Rita (John) Lawson, sisters-in-law Velma Colombano and Mary Rebottaro and many nieces and nephews. Visitation and Memorial will be Wednesday, November 1, 2017 from 10:00 - 12:00 p.m. at Fred Young Funeral Home, 428 N. Cloverdale Blvd. in Cloverdale. Interment will be at Oakmound Cemetery, Healdsburg. The family would like to thank Wati and Mosese Namumu, Tim and all the other caregivers that took care of Vince and Anita for the last three and a half years.
